Stay tuned for full return of String Summit in 2025

 After 18 years, we are taking a 1-year rest from the Summer String Summit concerts, with only an intimate workshop taking place for primarily friends and family.  This rest is in part a reset in preparation for a full return of String Summit concerts and workshops in July 2025.  We will miss you all at the concert and look forward to seeing you all once again in 2025!  Please stay tuned for 2025 dates, to be announced this summer.



The 17th annual Summer String Summit took place Sunday July 9 2023 at The Avery Theatre, Etna, CA. Tickets here.

This concert is the musical fruit of the Shasta Music Summit, which for 19 years has gathered musicians of all ages from around the world who share a dedication to acoustic music, for a week of workshops and musical exploration.  If you're interested in applying to the 2025 workshops, go here.

The 2023 concert featured 5-Time Grammy winning Percussionist, Inventor, & Composer Roy "Futureman" Wooten (of Bela Fleck & The Flecktones), Grammy winning Singer, Guitarist, Banjoist Keith Little (Toured and recorded with Dolly Parton, Ricky Skaggs, David Grisman), Bass Phenomenon Ethan Jodziewicz, Old-Soul pop vocalist Rachael Price, Champion Fiddler, Guitarist, Songwriter Luke Price, Expert Irish Fiddler Dale Russ, Guitar wizard Keenan Hammack, Chambergrass Innovators The Bee Eaters, and many others, hosted by 6-time Grand National Fiddle Champions Tristan and Tashina Clarridge.  Check out past lineups here.  Listen to recorded highlights of Shasta artists, here.
Over the past 19 years, the String Summit has earned a reputation as an evening of epic proportions, each July uniting a collection of legendary and innovative performers from the worlds of bluegrass, jazz, Irish, old-time and world music for an evening of music that will take the audience on a stunning inter-generational journey, with many special guests and spontaneous collaborations.
